unknown Photo taken December 30 2014 at The Society of the Four Arts Gardens. There was no name tag and the gardener did not know the name. The longer one was about 12 inches (30 cm) long. Even Andrea did not know off the top of her head, hmmmm. Not that I think they are Hops, hops are smaller I believe, but the shape of the cone reminds me of hops. Fascinating!
