Description

"A Fresh Loaf" - I guess I've seen this type of image in my mind's eye from my earliest years being aware of and appreciating art. I've always been struck, for instance by the lighting fidelity in Vermeer's work. Also a fan of Bougereau. Not that I am trying to recreate these here, let's just say I've been inspired to expand my own range of work. This is an Iray-rendered scene, with HDRI lighting. Hope you like it. See if you can find the second cat! This is very fine. The lighting is really quite splendid. I rather like the second cat as well.

The cat seems to be behind the railing of the stairway, upper right. As for the image, you've now made me quite hungry - the smell and taste of warm, new baked bread! When young, mother baked bread to keep expenses down, with 2 hungry boys like my brother and myself. Keep up the good work! :-)
