hey, this took too long to render hehe..it turned out nice though. my intent was to populate the scene more than this, but my 1gb RAM said otherwise :( i might try and kick my laptops butt see if i can get more in there LOL hope you like there is a larger version(2000x2000) at my deviant art page if your interested in seeing more detail

Do it in layers. Section out the scene, and populate that section only. Render. Depopulate, and repopulate section two. Rinse and repeat as needed. I got one Gig of RAM,too. You can work around it. Good job with what you got! OH! Lo-poly folks would work at this scale. Lower the poly count, increase the population.

Great scene - it's tricky to populate them with so little RAM, I've experienced that a few times! Daz on Vista with 4GB RAM will let you put OODLES of stuff in a scene before it starts creaking. Unlike Vue which needs 1GB just for an imported muffin!
