Description
You didn't think I could stay away from water shots very long, did you? This is the Jedediah Smith river in redwood country in California. The campground where we stayed is to the left as we look at it, and many of the best photos I took are from the Stout Grove, reached by crossing that bridge. Even the river was peaceful, here among the gentle giants.
For those who remember me posting fractals, I've opened a fractal gallery at my SmugMug site, here. At the moment I'm adding larger re-renders of some of my favorites, but new images will be showing up soon.

That's a great bridge and taken from this distance it is easy to see how really long it is. Beautiful peek through the trees at this placid scene.

Gorgeous view, and a wonderful photograph! I'm not sure how comfortable I would be walking across that bridge, though. It looks pretty flimsy!
