Description

The hard thing about hummingbirds, they rarely hold still and when they do, they pick the slimmest of branches, so even a slight breeze keeps them in motion. Thank goodness I can paint them, my photos all came out blurry! Thanks for the visit, best wishes to everyone.

Very nice! Great watercolor. We have a couple of feeders for the summertime, one goes right on the window. Even with that, it is hard to photograph them. You are quite right on their constant motion.

I like hummingbirds very much. I often saw them when I lived in West Indies. Theyr'e tiny, fast and fearless (able to attack a blackbird if necessary !) Very delicate painting with superb colors !
