Description

This is gypsyangel's new hot guy, Silas--I think he's slated for Daz, but I got to play with him too;) He renders so well--I'm planning on stealing his texture for her Men of the Night morph set, too. Now if you think the fence looks a bit fugly, it's my fault--that is a perfectly good transmapped chain link fence by 3dcritter, but I lit it from the back instead of the front, so the links rendered as flat shadows, and instead of re-rendering it with a front light, I painted all those little buggers by hand. Chain link fence is like a basket weave, not a simple criss-cross. Needless to say I won't be hand painting chain link any time soon again--this took me around six hours. Silas' clothes are from Daz: powerage's Ghost Agent.

That is really cool! LOL @ the handpainted fence! A few minutes re-rendering as opposed to 6 hours hand painting... PRICELESS!!!

Come on, tell the truth, you made it last 6 hours so you could ogle Silas! At least I would anyway. What an excellent painting challenge! You must have the patience of a Saint!! Outstanding work!!!

Six hours?!! Madness, I say, but no, it's not fugly, or ugly, it just looks like a chain link fence. Time must have flown while you were doing that instead of re-rendering... Fabulous work as usual.

Far from fugly (I just love that word!)!! And as Madbat says "glutton for punishment"! But, it gives it your touch and I'm sure that rendering wouldn't have looked as good as you made it look! Another handsome feller too! ;o)

That is dedication, Lynn! I think I'd have re-rendered it rather than paint every link in that fence like you did, but then again, I'm not as good a painter as you are. Great job on this character, and extra credit for the fence!
