Description

Another fence done in by a DUI fool, this one captured way back on 1/4/2006, 1.25 miles from home. There are tire/tyre tracks on the sidewalk.

Excellent title for these captures. I hope they caught the attention seekers and made them repair the damage. ☺

Well first, this is a wonderful capture of a damaged/attacked fence. I love the patterns made by that bent-down section, in both of your shots. But then there's the light and hue: Man, this is a big dancing collection of light and hues! The hues are almost fall-like, at least where I come from. And the light goes from normal to deep shadows (in the distance of number two esp), to apocalyptic yellow and white---on the center tree. So, while these are shots of a collision, visually they pop off the page like a big visual carnival. The second one is really intense, and the top one has a more autumnal feel---with that woman (maybe a man) as a strong accent, because of her/his bright reds. (How'd you ever find that person? She/he really sets off the background.) And the angle on top is so fascinating, with the bush-tops creating a straight line in contrast with all the angles below. The bottom shot reminds me of caramel and butterscotch! Beautiful light in these; and of course a very rich post-collision capture.
