Description

another shot of the "Hatchet Man" I really had a hard time this year, new lighting guy. Same lights over the tables, but the ambient light in the room seemed much darker. I compared it with my shots from last August, and I was correct, because this time I had to shoot at a higher ISO and it STILL seemed darker..Maybe I'll have a new lighting guy by the August 08 event..

I like the lighting here and atmosphere it creates - dont think it's too dark. Love the look of concentration on his face! Your composition and use of selective colour is excellent!

I figure you missed the ambient light from last year but no distracting background, either. Bruce, these are super shots and bring the concentration of the player right to the forefront.
