Congratulations on being picked for Member of the Month, Biscuits!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's get to know you a bit better!

Does your username hold a special meaning to you or at all?

Biscuits: What was I thinking to pick such a username!? Most fellow artists just call me Bis or Bissy as the full version is often misspelled.

What software(s) do you favor (use the most)?

Biscuits: I have lots of favorite software. I am very enthusiastic about Zbrush, Poser & Filterforge.

Zbrush has such intuitive workflow and is different from any other app I know of. In the course of time, it has expanded from a sculpting app to a modeler as well and it amazes me every time I use it. You can create organic models in it but you can do modern furniture just as easy! Oh, and of course - morphing figures, it's so much fun to do!

Poser is my choice of character software. I am crazy about the Cloth room because I love the realistic way one can drape clothing in it.  The morphing tool is another feature I couldn't do without. Fixing poke through and having more control is so lovely and indispensable! In the new Poser version, I use the export morph injection a lot with HD morphs.  I hope to make my own stand-alone figure for Poser one day my ultimate goal for it.

Filter forge is a texture designer and a filter designer in one!  I use it for making fabrics for clothing and wallpaper for interiors for example and to use the filters for post working artistic renders. It's one of those apps which is so integrated into the creation workflow, it's addictive!

How do you feel your art defines you?

Biscuits: Art is a great distraction for me, it gives me focus and a result to be proud of, well mostly.  I am very grateful that I can come to a place like Rendo where there are like-minded people that understand my enthusiasm and share it.  There are so many lovely, kind and helpful friends I've met over time here.

They became my 3D-family and I am so grateful for them and so proud of them when I see all the diverse talents people have.

It's all about community, the certainty of when you get "home" they will ask you how you've been and then ask what you have created. They are always trying to help and show you what they have been creating and ask for your opinion.

Being part of a creative community is something I really cherish.
