My heartfelt condolences to Michael's family and friends. Michael has left us his leagacy through his art and his prose. But it is Michael the man, the friend that touched the hearts of all that came to know him that is the true legacy. He was a compassionate, caring person. To be called his friend was an honor, to know him as your friend, a blessing. You will be missed my friend. Always, Michelle

I, for one will miss Mike for his friendship and articulateness. His wit and comments, always brought a smile to my face. Just a genuinely nice guy, who gave so much to others, less fortunate. A very talented and caring individual indeed. God bless you Mike! My thoughts go out to your family. sincerely, Steve ;o)

Mike was a very close and dear friend of mine and I miss him deeply. He had an artistic flare and was one of the most gifted writers I have ever come across. RIP dear friend... your place will always be empty. I have posted a Memoriam for Mike in the Photography Gallery in December. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1992437&user_id=555531&np&np

I've just learned he passed away a month ago and I feel pretty sad. I had never met him but what I knew from him here on Renderosity was that he was a talented man of wisdom... His comments, mails, artworks would always bring a big smile to my heart and to many others as well. This is not fair. Oh, yeah, life is not supposed to be fair... Maybe he still writes awesome and tolkien- like poetry upthere ? Rest in Peace dear Michael Elisabeth (containing her tears)

I just found out about Mike!! My heart is breaking. He was one of my first friends when I joined, and we shared the world of the writer. His words were so beautiful, so vibrant. and I would tease him on how he wrote "sigh poetry," since after reading his poems you couldn't help but sigh with how they affected you. He wrote with no fear, held nothing back, and poured his soul into every line. I drifted away from here, but would come back every now and then just to catch up on Mike's work ... and would always leave with that sigh I knew so well, on my breath. His support and encouragement for others was so sincere. And he was one of the most charming men I have ever known. I'm going to miss you, my friend.

I did not know until just a few moments ago that Michael had departed this life. This is heartbreaking news. Michael shared himself with us, in words and memories, in colors and hues. I love the person he was, his heart and mind. No one will ever take the place that he made in our hearts. In whatever realm, or haven you are in, I hope it is with peace. I'll miss you Michael
