Description

Canon EOS 10D, Canon 100-400L IS lens at 370mm ISO 400, 1/1600 second at f5.0, handheld I was in the right place at the right time on this particular photo. I had taken a couple shots of this bird, then all of the sudden he opens wide to give me this view. I wasn't sure I pressed the shutter in time until I looked at the photo. Thank you all for your comments on Tricolor heron, and the other bird photos I have been posting.
