Description

Testing some new concepts with this one, not much artistic value. :P Don't flog me but this is actually a Bryce render with no PW, but I wanted to post this here, Most of the work was in TG, and figured you guys & gals would get more out of it than the Brycers would lol. The 'background' is a TG panoroma rendered in 6 images, then all put in to one image with Photoshop to make a spheremap- the real trick to this. It was then put on a Bryce sphere and the scene objects were but inside it. I used Bryce for this, but any 3D app could do this. Thought this was cool, may be a way around getting 3D objects in TG before TG2 comes out. Anywho, thanks for looking :)

I think your concept is off to a great start! Not much on Bryce myself, but I'd say you got it going on!

Nicely done, I want to try and get the same thing going with Vue 5, if I could get a decent pano-render set to map it would make for some great environmental lighting (using sopack). Nice work :-)

woah... closes her eyes and shakes her head -Very- cool. ..I always kind of thought of objects inside bryce/whatever 3D app as solids... I never thought/heard of using one as an artificially manipulated mini-environment. Is thre any possibility you'll breate a tutorial teaching how to do this?
