Description

The bottom part is what I used as my image plane when I was modeling. I assume it's a WIP, but I really don't know what to do next. I mean, I know what I want to do, but I have no idea how to do it. (I've been modeling for, at best, about a month, using Maya 6) Anyways, suggestions about what to add to it next are greatly appreciated. I also have Photoshop CS, just so's ya know... Thanks, please help a fellow beginner out.

Nice start, a good basis to build on. Don't give up, now you need to work on the detail. How did you model this, in poly's? If this is poly then have a play with the cut faces tool and the extrude tool to create the detail on the sides. Applying a smooth to the main body will help a lot, just don't over smooth it otherwise it will get too "heavy". Finally some simple texturing will transform the model. Good luck!
