I worked really, really hard on the textures in the hair, and it looks really good even by my standards - but for some reason no matter what I do, posting the pic here totally ruins the hair. That'll teach me to safe a file in PSP format :(

the hair could be a disaster, which it is not; the lighting could be slightly off, which it is not; the colours could be a mish mash, which, again, they are not, and still... still i would love this picture... what i love about your images is the depth of emotions they evoke, how there always seems to be SO much more going on than just what you've placed before me on the surface... they make me stop, make look, reflect & think, but most importantly, i find myself wanting to listen [should that make any sense]...

I love the hair. I think the way it is catching and offsetting the light is fabulous. That's a beautiful shade of sidhe red is it not? ;) This is just gorgeous. In particular, her posture, the arch of her arms, her hands...very telling to her thoughts.
