Neat one Joan! The color tones create a facinating mood. Dark and mystic. I like it.

A comment I hope constructive. This is just an opinion so you do what you please. Keep this range of palette and if you add colour, keep the low saturation as I don't think it needs some heavy colour contrast. I would also keep the ribbons and the holes in it as it makes interesting shapes with a good movement between them while keeping some unity. I am not decided about some focus point. I don't have the feeling there is one and only one. I am attracted by the two main spirals but I am not able to decide which one to sacrify and even if it is a good idea to sacrify one. Perhaps just change the zooming or perspective to have one more important, by pp if necessary. Hope this helps

I agree with Miche, the is something missing to really focus on. At first I thought you should zoom in, but I don't believe it would help much. There are many details that must not get lost. So you could add something in the center, something that attracts interest. Something with a tiny amount of colour in it. And perhaps try to fade out the borders?

Rykk said it. The depth and metalic feel is awesome. Looking at it I have to convince myself that it is not XD ... Love it
