Description

I don't think I'll ever tire of coming back to this kind of image :-) Photoshop 7 and Painter 8 Thanks for your feedback :-) I should acknowledge the musical contribution of the CD "Sings Reign Rebuilder" by Montreal's Set Fire To Flames, several members of which are also in the better known Montreal group Godspeed You Black Emperor! Please do a Google search for it, it's a brilliant album and blew me away while I was working on this. It doesn't sound like what this image looks like, but I just had to mention it anyway ;-)

Intriguing composition, excellent flow and soothing coloration. Very well done!

I just love what you've done here, a exciting take on the "liquid to human concept". There is a lot of movement going on and a real 2 and a a half dimensional effect, which is damn hard to get it right. Congratulations on a job well done.

I don't think I'll ever tire of looking at this style of yours. So different, so cool. Almost like some sort of modern day art deco digital look. "Digital Deco," hmmmmm. Vote -jay

Mmmmmm........I never tire of it either. This is totally delicious. I could just roll around in the colour - and the little subtly rich bits of dirty shading 'round the structure is wonderful. Lovely highlights too. Aw, forget the blather. I'll just add it to my faves, and then I can moon over it at my leisure.

Three things come to mind. Test tubes, preying mantises and the flash.

It's looking so 3d that it could be a sculptor! Love the tone, and dynamics. He/she is definitely challenging the gravity:-) I like this one a lot!!!!!!

I was trying to find the right words to express my admiration, but I think Jay7347 said it all: "a modern day art deco digital look". What a wonderful definition! I wish I could vote for it, as I do for your render. V

Instantly recognisable as "Synaptic". The cool minty green is also a treat. There's a soft airbrushed quality about it that makes me wish it was a huge real world painting. As for the Godspeed reference, you're ahead of me Jim, I'm only just reading about them in the latest issue of Audion!

A frozen moment in time is very fitting, Im not sure the colour shouts frozen to me. I definitely get a feel for crucifixion from this a nice observation Cneofotistios right on the nail for me too. :0 )

Really nice, Synapse! I see the runner frozen in place. I like the color so much I may try a painting with that color myself. It's interesting that this is so dynamic and yet frozen in time.

This is looking extremely futuristic, because of the way the character is looking and the colors you used. These are very serene colors, setting it apart from a lot of other work being posted here. Now that I looked at the image again, it reminds me of watching a dvd on a pc using a cheap flatscreen... the motion kinda stick to the screen due to a poor refresh rate ;) in this case I like it :)
