An experiment in abstraction directly from the Voyager camera. Mild unsharp mask applied in PS.

The uneven terraces look more natural than the even stepped ones...excellent colorwork...unsharpen mask did you say??? Makes for a real nice effect...Excellent

Thanks for your comments DW. I have to let you know that the idea of sharpening such an image came from you. It's only a subtle amount but I like the effect on an image that I previously wouldn't have thought to sharpen because it's inherently sharp coming from Voyager. I notice it frequently on your images and I think it adds a nice snap.

Very nice surface and texture. In a way it can be looked at as an abstract and at the same time it is easily recognizable as a landscape. I think that this camera angle offers many new options.
