Her emerald eyes peer at,
You from the mask of a bandit.
Her smile is,
Sly and candid.
Her voice dares you,
To prove you

Wonderful work. Bandita reminded me of a romance, the green eyed girl so fiery and full of spirit - challenging the man in the most playful way - and "Time & Patience' touched a deep cord, because you so perfectly described the heartache of seeing a strong man break. In both poems the woman plays a large role. Excellent writing. :o) CC
