Smooth and even like the iced surface of a winter pond
My emotions settle
No longer boiling hot and overflowing like molten magma below the surface
I feel the edge soften
A proverbial suckle on mother

Very wise thoughts and provoking. You cared to write it. But this is for the older mind and not for the wide gateway of youth it seems to me. Life is incredibly alive in youth. Don't like to hear despair because time waits for no person.
