Description

I wanted to do a town square scene-- bustling with people... but what a nightmare to get this vision together! Poser5 simply stalled out when rendering multiple figures. Remember that the buildings are Poser figures, the characters are were multiple layers of clothing, thus more characters... so the solution was to render the piece in sections and assemble in Painter... and finally a finished piece! Model credits: Buildings & Wagon (Ironhart); Building & Wagon textures (Tuesday & Me); Michael 2 & Vickie 2/3, Vickie Fantasy Dress, Charger, micheal Beard (DAZ); Wolf Pack & MiLady Clothes (PoserStyle)& Pigeons (Noggin)

Well Ken I think you have simply outdone yourself! This is absolutely fantastic! As one that has put a few scenes togther I can relate to what you said about the 'almost impossible' task of rendering all those separate objects in Poser. (for instance my Mayan Princess Scene and The Lost Balloon) Poser chokes. You managed to find a workaround and it came out BEAUTIFUL. This is truly a wonderful image. I think it would look GREAT printed up, don't you? Bravo and 10 *'s

good job, now you know why companies like pixar have hundreds of computers linked together to render their scenes and animations, of course they use a little bit better render engine then poser

Lovely scene with so many people in it, no wonder you had to render each seperately - but I must say you put them all together superbly to create this fantastic historical scene. I agree your hard work paid off. Jan
