Here I am
broken wings
all alone with
shattered dreams
Endless pain
stretched for miles
masked by
a shallow smile
They said in time
the pain would end
but not a helping hand
would they lend
Hateful words and
silent tears make a
hollow heart
through out the years
Reaching hand
grasps only air
look around
no one's there
