Description

Saint Stephen was recounted as being full of grace and power, one who did great wonders and signs among the people. It is said he was stoned for blasphemy but he did not die before receiving a vision of the open heavens with Jessus standing at the right hand of God, and.. before praying for the forgiveness of those who stoned him...

Ditto on the hair! It looks as though you can reach out and touch each strand.

This is so moving to me. The eyes say so much about the story; I can see pain and forgiveness in them.

You are truly remarkable!! You breathe life into each image you create. They say the eyes are the gateway to the soul. It's as though his eyes give us a glympse of his vision.Thank you for sharing .

Really like this picture. Just a triva note: Shortly after Stephen witnessed the vision of Jessus at the right hand of God he is also said to have seen Jesus there as well. Sorry....couldn't help myself.
