Description

The Supreme Universal President has ordered his flagship, USS Ressurection (formerly USS Enterprise E) to close on Captain Calhoun's Enterprise 1701 (museum ship) in order to force the crew to take his "mark of loyalty" and worship him as god. Navigator Seven of Nine: "She is head reaching on us and she outguns us ten to one, your orders Captain?" Captain Calhoun:"We will pray." He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may by or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. I've been looking through this gallery, and I can't decide what disturbs me more: the Star Trek obsession, the malevolent Biblical/religious themes, or the numerous attempts to integrate the two. I can't help but suspect that these images are the products of a crackpot of the first magnitude.

Leaving the above, NON HELPFUL and NON CONSTRUCTIVE comment aside... I like the texture on the lower ship's foward engine pods - looks like the old series a lot. The stars seem blured in different directions creating less motion feeling than if they all went in one direction... Otherwise, nice image.

Thanks for the comment chanson, I used the same effect in Corel Photopaint(alchemy/vortex)for both the stars and the Bussard domes on the 1701. when I tried a straight motion blur on the stars they were so faint I did not think they showed up very well, but perhaps with more ambient light on them they would.
