"Ahh yes, I see what the problem is now."
A re-visit to my Fairy Godmother. This time she has a wand, and it lights up. This was an exercise in getting objects to "self-illuminate" in Poser. Learned the hard way, once you position a spot light, don't make it into an "Infinite". ^_^
