Like a scene from The Orville :)
Thank you, NenaLu.
Very well done. Makes me think of Time after Time, a movie with David Warner
Thank you, illkirch
Very nicely done, I also used that city-part in the foreground for a few renders some time ago but never got such a great and complete scene.
Thanks, Horo.
Nicely done.
Thank you, starship64
Love that time machine - and perfectly set in a great location. Excellent work. :-)
Thank you Staticon. The Time machine is build in Bryce.
Awesome scene
Thank you, uncollared
He jumped into a 1975 historic NYC neighborhood in year 2075 ... cool ... but he's gonna get a parking ticket any minute!
lol It is possible. Thank you, max-
Impressive Bryce steampunk render...
Thanks, kemmo
Is that Rod Taylor I see emerging in yet another space-time continuum? Great time machine, much like the one in the original movie.
Thanks a lot. I don't think it's Rod, but I did build the time machine based on the movie version :D
You built this, huh? Wow, very impressive modeling. I have a fixation with building my own stuff. It is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the image-creation process.
Thanks a lot. If you like, you can download the model here as a freebie: https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/100003/the-time-machine-only-for-bryce
Now that I took a look on your download page, I noticed all the detail in the model. How in blazes did you do the scroll work on the sled in Bryce? I could see doing that in Wings 3d or some other polygon modeler, but not easy in Bryce. I might try a symmetrical lattice or some such thing in the terrain editor, but otherwise, I'm baffled.
Parts of the chair and the feet are imported external objects; the rest consists of terrains and metaballs for the curved tubes.
OK, that makes sense. Great work!
Thanks again, gmvgmvgmv
