Description

Created with Debra Rosses Elephant available at Daz3d. Rendered in Poser 4, with several light passes to get the flat shadowless light effect which happens in a sandstorm. Composited in Photoshop 7 and layered up with several layer modes. Dust particles created by hand using a very simple technique of painting on a seperate layer a similar color to the background several patches and duplicating them, then spinning around to a different axis, blurring, adding noise and slecting an appropiate layer opacity. Then duplicating that layer and scaling it up or down and changing the layer opacity again and adding more noise. Enjoy!

Excellent image! Thanks for the brief tutorial. Sometimes I think we have a tendency to overlook how much work goes into an image. Well done! :)
