You have the amazing ability to turn dread and horror into glittering and glowing myth: This horrifying battle (preceded by Achilles' slaughter of so many people, the river overflowed with bodies), is portrayed in gorgeous slivers and 'shavings' of gold. And Hector and Achilles have been rendered almost entirely as "air"----making them sheaths of golden memory, heroism and light.

Yet the battle was horrible (and, if I recall, Achilles dragged Hector's body around the city many times---I hope I remembered that correctly!) Nevertheless, you've turned that horrifying moment into a golden-tinged tale, with beautiful light on the gold "leaf", with beautiful purples (gold and purple are royal hues, after all), and beautiful leaves of gold unfolding/unfurling into space. Beautiful conception! And the cacophony of battle has become a background of beautiful purple and salmon-pink-colored shapes, colliding and interacting. It's beautiful...the helmets shine...and your Bryce work echoes the shapes of Achilles and Hector throughout your image-----visual echoes, beautifully done.

You've elevated the horrors of the Iliad into a moment of shining light...and yet, we're reminded that this light and glitter will soon disappear (glory is fleeting/sic transit gloria mundi---that's not Greek, but it's still ancient), and all that will remain is the memory...To me, this image is pure memory: gilded and glowing and beautiful. Wonderful work with color, shape, and motion: Homer is lucky to have you as his modern interpreter.

Very richly colored render. Interesting how you very often render your human and other figures so they look as if hollow and empty inside, seemingly hinting at the lack of substance underlying the multicolored phenomena -- a concept Buddhists would relate to.

Your art,
is a truly unique beauty to behold.

I wish the sculptors of Amazonamachy,
and Leonardo Da Vinci were alive,
to see the wonders possible in 3DCGI.
