Description
Captured way back on 12/17/2005, at the beautiful Rancho Los Alamitos in beautiful Long Beach, California.
Just one of several at the Rancho. There are so many variants of ficus trees/plants that I won't even guess on this one, except that it's a hardy and enormous shade tree.

A 'wow' shot: That tree beautifully dominates the left side, while that graceful house gives this its human touch. That's a formidable tree! And I know, from your many ficus shots over the years, that you have lots of them in S.Cal. I also know you're drawn to them, and have captured their every personality. This one is massive, but it leans, and looks very friendly. There's even a root coming out of the ground, in front---separated from its source: amazing. And a sweet balance between behemoth-tree and elegant country house...Continue to take care, Harry...and lol at your comment on touching your face: It's hard, isn't it...we're programmed to touch that sucker. My face itched so much from a mask, I wanted to rip it off and tell it to go away forever...I wish you complete immunity from covid.

Weeelll, I am not sure it is actually A tree, but many trees that found it was much more fun to grow together. Yeah, in 2005 they never thought about keeping distance ;-)
