Painting the old fashioned way, captured way back on 12/11/2005, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens in beautiful Long Beach, California. The CSULB on her hoodie stands for California State University Long Beach.

a perfect capture of an artist at work...you shot at just the right time, and from just the right angle. She's absorbed, we see her art, and the background is beautiful and peaceful. It looks like she's working in mainly grays and blacks, and it's a fascinating work-in-progress. Plus you captured her folded feet, which completes the portrait. (If I sat that way, today, I'd never get up...) She's all bent over, absorbed in her piece. A perfect artist-at-work capture, Harry. We can even see the ink bottle to the left...I love this shot.
