Description
Born fourth daughter of a wealthy merchant, Zildah knew from a young age that she would have to make her own way in the world. There would be no inheritance for her, and while marriage was certainly an option, she found the thought insufferable. At the height of her power, her enemies called her the Merciful to mock her. Her friends adopted it out of irony.
