Just in case you're wondering what cute, Gothic lab technicians do after hours (and I know you are...), here's Abby cooking up a new elixir. I think she needs a volunteer lab subject to try it out. If the Girls can get Dan down from the stratosphere, maybe he'll give it a try... LOL
Just a bit of fooling around with RPD's Abbigail.
Sorry I've been MIA a lot lately. RL and this job are kicking my butt right now... In my new position (note I said “position” and not “promotion” - promotion would involve more money. This just involves more work...), I am responsible for servicing anywhere from 1400 to 1900 + HP printers throughout the entire Children's Mercy system. Children's Mercy Hospital has outsourced all the first-level service on its fleet of printers to my company. There are at least 6 locations in addition to the main hospital. In addition to that, at least 50% of the damn things are on the freaking floor - usually under someone's desk, or counters at the nurses' stations. My back is usually killing me by the time I get home. My hours have changed to 9:00AM to 5:30PM, so it's dark by the time I leave the hospital.
Anyway, enough whining... I'm slowly getting back into things, and will be getting the next page in the T.N.A. adventure finished up soon. And, I'm working on another little surprise for all the Girls' fans, and my friends here and at FA. I hope to have it finished up by Christmas.
I've picked up Poser Pro 11, but haven't had time to play with it much so far. I have found that it's going to be an entire new can o' worms as far as the Superfly render engine, so there's another learning curve. Just what I needed! LOL
Anyway, I hope everyone here that cerebrates it, has a great Thanksgiving, and for those everywhere else, I hope you have a great and peaceful weekend. We can all use a little 'peaceful' with everything that's going on in this troubled world.

My, Rod. I sure understand your back problems. This past week I've barely been able to roll out of bed. Sitting is also a dreadful pain - right lumbar, just like a year ago. Man, I almost missed this post - your name caught my eye. Must be the dratted thumb nail thingy again! Great image and, er, nice(?) girl. But drinking her potion, er, no thanks. SHE try it first. As for credits, I've given up on those. And on writing over and over again after repeated wipe-outs of my texts, I write the texts and credits in Word, then copy-paste into the upload page. A wee bit more work, but a lot less than reconstructing lost text umpteen times! So, Greenpots has made a nice/nasty chem lab! Maybe something to look into for my nasty Dr. Q(uack) and his ass-istant Ms. Gutts (guess what her favorite is? Hint: one t less in her name). They haven't been starring at Rendo as they are so, er, gutsy(?). Maybe chemistry will change their interests?
Keep up the good work! Am looking forward to your next post! And, I understand, all those busted printers on the floor. Probably kicked a lot, and not just by accident! :-)

well first, I’m sorry for your burdens at work. I didn’t realize how many units you were responsible for---and what you describe, ie getting at those units? I never thought about the contortions your job requires. You might as well be a plumber! I’m 66, Rod, and if I had to crawl under a desk to rescue a heavy freakin’ machine? I’d be in that position for weeks. They’d have to carry me out in that position...As for your Poser problems, I know what it’s like when a software company throws a 12 generation leap at you, and you're rendered a newbie after eons of mastering the program. One thinks, “I’m to freakin' old for this s___”. Anyway...
What a vivid image! The hues pop out. The forms are so clear. I love the angles. And I've been in labs ‘after hours’ (years ago), and I know how they feel: Like you can do anything you want, you can create potions that'll take over the world...She has that look on her face. And you’ve got lots of detail here, incl a very colorful Periodic Table! a great green clock with (I assume) the abbreviations for Elements on it (love it), lots of bottles with a lotta hydrogen cyanide---great thing to bring for Thanksgiving! (“Here, Auntie, a nice drink for you and Uncle Ed...”), a spilled drink, and so on. You even have a blackboard (with CH2 and CH3 on it---I took some organic chemistry, eons ago, and I remember those as “methyl” groups, right? Well, to me, “methyl” was way too close to “ethel,” which always reminded me of “I Love Lucy”---not the best association to make in a chemistry class!). A delightful lab-after-hours-image, Rod, and very vivid and clear.
(And when I take another break I intend to go back and see some of your earlier T.N.A. pieces. I haven't forgotten.) Happy Thanksgiving, thank you for all your wonderful comments, to me and to others; and I hope your holiday has been very nice, and a break from your new difficult hours at work.

Abby looks marvelous! I have her on my wishlist but it may be a while before she hit my Runtime.
I just love the way companies are working these days. Fire 1/2 the employees, give their responsibilities to the 1/2 left with no increase in pay, then pat themselves on the back for saving money for their own bonus checks and dividends.

Abs just loves her work, doesn't she? I use to sub-contract for H-P while working at another computer company here in Silicon Valley AND I have had a bad back since I was 18, so I feel your pain my friend, and that WAS meant as a pun!!! Hang in there and stick with your 3D stuff. . . it WILL keep you from going off the deep end (LOL).

First Abby Looks Fine but I am not sure I have a freebie from Share CG Forensic Investigator I haven't used her except to play with, Oh that doesn't sound right!well I will look for her and see how she compares with this Abby. Sorry about your back! I pulled a muscle in mt back in Aug. working on the wiring behind the engine of my last car. I rubbed it with Arnicare Gel (my Back not the Car)It felt better right away https://www.arnicare.com/products/arnicare-gel/ I use it for my Mothers arthritis knee pain.

Well, a belated Happy Thanksgiving my friend. Our Thanksgiving is in early October, but if global warming continues, perhaps not for much longer. Yeah, I know about work these days - more work, less money thing anyways. And they're always asking you for ideas for making you obsolete too. Fortunately, the guy spearheading that project just retired so I no longer have to fend him off every six months. You did a wonderful job with Abby. None of that, "i must test my creation on myself first", sort of morality. No, she must stay objective like any respectable scientist. We call it the 'control sample'.
