Very nice shots, regardless. I like that they seem to have kept it what was probably a period correct color. I haven't seen too many of the 50's era models, though I don't think they were true "woodies" as they were originally. Of course, by the time I came along they weren't even wood anymore either, but more or less a type of overlay more akin to today's vinyl graphics. Nonetheless, there was still some form or craftsmanship that went into creating these cars that is probably a lost art today.

You picked the best POV for my taste. Love these woodies! Boeing started out making wooden boats then wooden airplanes. I'm sure as steel and aluminum replaced wood in cars and planes there were still a lot of skilled coachmen around ready and willing to craft these classics.

I know nothing about cars, what so ever, but I do like the look of this car and you captured it very beautifully.

No matter, the sun brings out the colours and a shine.. Its often a shame that, where as it IS held on grass in a lovely setting, Stamfords show is often dull.. By the way, its in 3 weeks.. Great shots mate. Rob
