Description
Capture of the entrance to the Bolsa Chica Conservancy Wetlands, from atop a footbridge, back on 5/11/12, mid afternoon, in beautiful Huntington Beach, California, near beachzz's old stomping grounds. It abuts and is separate from the Pacific Ocean, which is out of sight to the right
A ZOOM is highly recommended.
Aloha.

Amazing green hue to the water. Being this close to the ocean, is it safe to say this is also salt water and not likely affected by the dry conditions that you have been suffering from this year? Wonderful photo just the same.
Without doing any research, and right off the top of my head, I don't think this is salt/sea water. The waterway is completely separate from the ocean, but it still isn't what you might consider clean and clear. In fact, there are tons of thick algae further up the wetlands.
This is such a wide-open and beautiful spot; marvelous capture of the lovely green water!
Awesome POV and Shot!!! Not sure the water is still there!!!
Nice capture of this truly epic view, Harry.
Very interesting vista and love the color of that water. Nice shot.
Algae or not, it is a mighty beautiful scenery and I do like that green color. :)
