Description

Big Frog, near the southeast corner of Tennessee. At an elevation of 4,224 feet it is not a particularly tall mountain, but there are no nearby peaks which approach it’s height so it towers over the area. It is very common to see the peak snow capped in the winter months, and it is a magnet for photographers. The pictures of the mountain I am posting have all been processed with HDR software, which I am just learning to use. I am attempting to use HDR to increase the color and lighting range so that the pictures closely approximate what my eye sees. I am mostly happy with the results; although the process does not always give me exactly what I am looking for, this particular photo worked very well.
