This small story is titled "CRASH INTO ME" NYC Washington Heights; Est. - 2002. Hipólito Ortiz was a city boy that recently became a man with a mild behavior against everything in his sights. Often used his time in the wrong places with the wrong friends and spent a couple of nights in juvie here and there. Got left back in high school, and spent the summer with the school and textbooks to make it up for his senior. He didn’t give a fuck about much, until he met her. Tatiana Arroyo. She was a tanned sweetheart with auburn hair, an adorable smile, smart, charismatic, and she had some sexy legs as a bonus. She was a country girl from D.R., but moved on up to the city when she was ten and roamed the city with her girls. She had some spats with the jennies from the block, and had to hit the books to make up for the time she lost. It was easy for her, but she kept herself down. She was better than that and she knew it. So, she figured she’d get the diploma out of the way. He knew what words to say and he had the right tone in his voice. She became his tutor, and eventually, his girl. They became inseparable, going to parties, malls, movies, you name it. They never did the horizontal dance before, but that didn’t stop their hormones from flaring up, and sampling each other’s nectars. They waited to go all the way as the juice would be that much sweeter. One day, Hipólito was arrested by the police and got put through the system on a rape charge. They didn’t have any DNA, no witnesses save for the unfortunate victim, and the man had alibis for where he was. But he was not liked by the local pigs and they wanted to make an example out of him. When all was said and done, he was given 25 to life in prison with possible parole. Absolutely devastating the couple. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months. But that didn’t stop Tatiana from seeing her man. On one of the visits, Hipólito asked Tatiana to take a photo of herself and send it to him. It would help him get through the days when things seemed hopeless. Tatiana was a good girl and went with it. She bought a disposable point and shoot, and took a photo of herself that she knew he would never forget. She got it developed, and sent to Hipólito. And she remained faithful. She waited for him to come out. Everyday, Hipólito would put the photo into his pocket, and went through his rounds in the slammer. And when he went to sleep, he hung the photo on the wall next to him. She was his guardian angel. Ten years have pass, but with some fortunate news. The victim of the rape case recanted her story, and Tatiana got Hipólito teamed up with some great lawyers to pressure the courts into freeing him. He is to be released in October 2012. But his ordeal, while not of his doing, humbled him, and made him a better person. The photo he had, has aged and faded, but in his eyes, never lost its luster. Tatiana was a full woman now, and aged like fine wine. They had many talks about starting a family when he got out, and now, they were looking forward to doing exactly that. ===== I stopped there, I didn’t know what else to write. It’s not a real story, but that doesn’t mean things like this don’t happen, unfortunately. This is actually, the lovely model newcomer that I worked with, name Cecily. I really felt a connection with this photo, but I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it. Normally, a photo like this would look modern, and clean, and retouched. And black and white. But I found that BORING! So, this time, I wanted to do an absolute 180 of what I normally do. So, I aged it, added faded colors, scratches, and such. I didn’t retouch the model. I find the natural look MUCH SEXIER than if I were to modernize it. I want to do this more. I want to make more story driven photos. I like typing that way. :D
