Moss heaven! FAB pic. My Grandma (who was born in 1881) didn't have an easy life but she was very wise. She told me Never Worry. Don't worry about things you can't change: It is a waste of precious energy. And Don't worry about things you can change: Change them! I have lived by that. Try it. I know it's easy for me to say, but give it a go. And thankyou, Steve for making a favourite of my latest upload, I am flattered that such a good photographer should do so!

Sound advice from Andrea Steve. This is a brilliant picture of a fantastic scene and would make a super jig-saw puzzle.

What a glorious photograph! I love the quality of the light, and of course your composition is perfect. Beautiful work! There's a saying I just love: "What do you mean, worry doesn't help? The things I worry about never happen!" Also: "HOPE is not a strategy." There are several ways to change mental habits, and dwelling on things you have no control over is absolutely a mental habit. The one that's worked best for me is to set aside some time every day to worry, dwell, or obsess. Half an hour a day, or 15 minutes twice a day, or five minutes an hour ... whatever works for you. During your "non-worrying" times, when you realize you're dwelling on something, you stop yourself and say, "I'll worry about this at 11:00." Then at 11:00 (or whenever) you sit and worry and dwell and obsess to your heart's content! Set a timer. When the timer goes off, you stop worrying and wait until your next "appointment." As you train yourself to stop thinking in your old patterns, stretch the appointments out. If it was five minutes an hour, go to four times a day. Eventually you'll find you've stopped the habit. Good luck! Whatever methods you choose, I'm sure you'll do well. May 2012 be a relaxed, stress-free year for you! :)

Wow, lovely work, the way the road draws you in but leaves you wondering where it goes as it curves out of view. And of course the stellar moss carpet on the rock edging. I have said before, what a wonderful land you live in, be happy for that.
