Description

This is the most snow we have had in our area since 1974. I believe it is now over 2½ feet, and it is still snowing. Until these snow ploughs did their magic, I couldn't get my car out of the driveway (there were 4 of these ploughs working in unison). We are on a bus route and the buses kick up so much snow, they create huge ruts of hard packed snow. I was afraid of I would either get stuck, or ruin my poor Taurus' undercarriage. This would be the time to have a four-wheeler! The photos are foggy, as they were taken through the window, and it was getting dark.

At least being on a bus route means you actually see a plow (or 4!) once in a while, but then the busses knock much of it back over the sidewalks and driveways. I never see one, so I don't know which is worse. If we get a quick warm spell, my street will be filled with mired vehicles.
