Mixed Media Entry for "Think Pink V" contest, hosted by junkbyjen on DA junkbyjen @ deviantart Messenger of Hope is a reminder that we can never give up whatever the obstacle that is set in our path, we can and will overcome! The Law of Attraction dictates that if we set our minds to achieve something we most certainly will and so my friends ..... we must set our minds, we must focus our thoughts on everything that is dear to us, everything that is important and request that we "Find the Cure" ..... "Think Pink"!!! The universe WILL listen! This is dedicated to the host of the competition, a dear sister and soul mate, herself a survivor and to all women (and men - yes, men can get breast cancer too!) who have either personally encountered this disease or who are supporting their family and friends through this battle. We will never give up! I've been away from art for a long time now (odd piece here and there) and painting takes such a long time (something I don't have a lot of at the moment). I was playing around in Poser (something I've not done in ages) and well, after I rendered this character and placed her in a background I thought it seemed apt for this particular contest. I actually have something else in mind for the contest but not sure I will get it done in time. Still, its amazing where "playing" can take you ;) I will be posting a close up of the character and messenger!
