This fellow just stood at the roadside letting me snap photos of him (from the safety of my car), while he was dining. Look at the eyelashes.

I didn't notice that mark on his face, but he had a later injury to his leg as well. I'll post that photo tomorrow. Thank you for your comments!

They do sometimes injure their heads running through the bush when scared I believe - great shot! I like the velvet still on the antlers.
