Description
Leaving the German military alone for a moment, I thought I would do a turn of the century, observatory as a Discovery canvas... abandoned, ivy growing on the girders, holes in the wood dome planking, brick floor, dirty and broken windows in the offices overlooking the telescope etc.
This is a very high poly model about 80% completed that is pushing my old "PPC" MacPro Dual Quad with 4 gigs of memory. I push my machine for all my work and may add this model to my Brugge series and the last addition, the Submarine pen/Bunker.
Would appreciate any comments from serious Vue users on how you view working with detailed models and pushing your systems. If the big boys do it, it must be for those great effects in the end.

Most excellent model, Don! As to working on older computers, I don't think there's a solution except to upgrade or purchase something more powerful. Unfortunately it's always been this way with 3d imagery and modeling.
