Hi Everyone, thanks very much for your comments! :) Speech - Yes, the leather on the strap, is a simple leather map. Added cones for the spikes, and not that you can see them easily, small leather rings around the base of the spikes. Raindroptheelf - The render was posed and set up in Poser. Misc bits added, materials setup and rendered in 3DS Max. In addition I smoothed the hair giving it a higher polycount too.

Wow, had you put this in photographs I would have believed you without hesitation. The lighting works fantastic and certainly produces the real element here. Also her tossled hair looks to unkempt to not be real.
