Description

Went to Washington D.C with my family during our vacation in June and managed to get this shot at the Lincoln Memorial, which was the one place I most wanted to see while we were there. I suppose shots like this are probably a dime a dozen but I liked the way it turned out, particularly the angle; everyone else seemed more concerned about getting their pictures taken in front of the statue but I wanted to do something more befitting the solemness and sense of history I felt while there.
