Back to my passion for stones and coins. Place on points was very useful in this project.

Great Work. I'd love to know how you created all those crystals.
Thanks folks for those nice comments. Its very simple. Just make the surface (can be a stone or just plane), then make 2-4 shapes of crystals (see wikipedia for basic shapes) give a crystal settings shader. Get the best plugin "Place on points". Make a group of the crystals you just created; so that those shapes make a small area like an unit. Apply the group to the shell using place on points and there it is. Adjust the randomness and scale to get different size. You got a nice looking amethyst or whatever u want.
