Having acquired Ultra Fractal in February 2008, I've been teaching myself how to use it by trial and error. Also, when I look at other folks’ fractal art, I like to try and reverse-engineer how the image was put together, such as how each layer in the image interacts with the other layers. I’m sure we all get ideas from the creative things that others come up with.
Â
I live with my cat companion in a small trailer in rural northern California. I mounted a solar panel on top of the trailer to power my laptop and some LED lights. Since Ultra Fractal demands a lot of battery power to perform its millions of calculations, on cloudy days in the winter I have to fire up the portable generator to recharge my battery bank.
Â
I am in my early forties, and have a very simple, debt-free lifestyle with lots of solitude. I’ve been working in a natural foods store ordering produce and grocery since 1994, and it has been conducive to my vegan diet to be surrounded by an abundance of organic whole foods every day.
Â
Another hobby of mine has been teaching myself to write HTML code via reading text books. I’ve put together a Web site to put into practice what I’ve learned about Web design. I recommend using the Firefox browser to surf the Web, since it complies with the strictest standards for HTML code (Safari for the Mac is good too). Anyway, if you are interested in visiting my Web site, the address is simply juliaseed.net

Thanks for taking the time to read my bio.
Sincerely,
Dave Williamson

I like this very much and the Chinese poem so fitting.. The image has a very Chinese feel to it.. Lovely delicate and great of coloring.
Really, truly gorgeous! That purple is wonderful, and the lines are so delicate and fragile--excellent fractal art!
