Description

Just off the coast of Kansas, 80 million years ago, a lone Dolichorhynchops pursues a school of Enchodus; so intent is the small plesiosaur on the chase that it doesn't notice a pod of its larger cousin Styxosaurus looming out of the murk, using their long necks to snatch some of the same fish. A small coastal mosasaur, possibly Platecarpus, and a Squalicorax shark, disturbed by the large new arrivals, retreats from the scene. All models from DAZ (created by Digital I Designs), rendered in Vue6.

Very nice image. I like the way the light plays on the Styxosaurus' back.
