To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Love the Grunge, Excellent work Mina. I was never much inspired by the Great Masters except maybe Piccasso, more by Dali, Escher, Geiger and....um....The Twilight Zone. Peace
Wonderful artwork and story..well done Mina!!
Rembrandt lives again in your wonderful creation,Mina!
Just love this look at Rembrandt, one always thinks of the Great Masters as being very serious and not having much of a sense of humour. But this shows a very human side to the great painter. Somehow it changes how I see his work now, through different eyes. I love how you portrayed him, a laughing ghost in old, old halls, echoing down through the ages, reminding us that things are not always what they seem
Nice dedication for a big big artist !
Wonderfully surreal....
A very interesting artwork, surreal, with wonderful grunginess. Cool.
Self-portraits are always so hard. I finally did one about right not that long ago. I think you've captured him perfectly in the way that he captured himself......if that makes sense. o.O; Gorgeous as usual, hon.
So cool on your part my friend.
