Description

Now, we're down by the banks of the creek. And It appears that no-one has slipped and fallen, so far... The water is singing gently to us as it dances playfully around and over the rocks all the while dragonflies dart about looking for their food. The air is cool, moist and feels wonderful against the skin. In the distance, the birds are singing their own songs of joy. As we look around, we see the various plants growing in abundance, ferns being the predominant plant along with all the various trees. Maples, ash and evergreens grow in clumps all along the banks and up both banks. We notice the moss covering the rocks is thick and rich. There are a lot of places here for the fae to hide and observe us. To our left, upstream, the distant roar we heard before is just a little louder but just barely so. We'll look around a bit if just to relax before we climb back up to the main trail.

The perfect place for the fae to take a rest or a sip of cool water....do fae go skinny dipping? lol....this is beautiful and I know we're getting closer...there's something in the air that tells me the wee ones are close...makes me wonder what they have in store for us.

This is a very serene shot Mike... but in the distance there is a rumbling. It seems like the percussion that always leads to a climax in a scene... foreboding and building up from a mere vibration until it reaches a thundering pounding in ones' skull.... Seth
