Description

Here i at the begaining of my photo shoot of this gun. i now not all people like guns and many countrys you can not have a gun. I got a lot of comments which is fine and thank you all for them. It to me a free world and say what is true to you. But please do not think U.S.A. is bad because athe news put all the bad stuff for all to see. I with my own eyes in Paris france in the subway saw a man pull a big knife on the well to do looking man as he walked by. The well to do man pull a gun out and the knife man ran away then. that crime was stop by a gun. I know in France you have to have a premint to own a gun and to carry one too. I know not if this gun man had the paper work but he saved himself from robby or even body hurt. I know I open the can of worms when I give a talk on guns a few images back. or even posting this gun here. Please before you past judgement on U.S.A. look at these words in google tournante gang rape It world wide and the news is not reporting this evil and cops in a lot of places not even looking into it. where is the women right movement on this? Where is the law? If there is no law who going to help you? I not saying too take the law into your own hands but something need to be done. If you can vote; vote out the bad people and hope you get a good people in office. All I did was put time to good use here and took some photos of something that came to mind. I wish to show people when the weather is bad outside you can still shoot wonderful photos. I read a lot of people here on RR that can not get outside to take phots. i just wish to show people you take photos anytime you wish if your camera is working and you have a light souce and have a Idea. thanks for looking and comment. i take any comment good or bad

Interesting lighting, which has made the gun's metal look like it's melting ! Guns have their place, it just depends who the owner is and your O.K. by me Jock ! ~Cheers~

Guns are forbidden here in Germany for normal people. You have to be organized in a hunting club or in a sportsmen club. Free guns for all is a horror here, but I have heard that 2-3 million of them are illegal in peoples hands - and that is a lot! But guns are fascinating, too - like yours! And it is interesting, what kind of art you create around, like your music photos. Thanks for sharing!

As I said in a previous comment, I don't like guns... I'm convinced that violence generates more violence... and we cannot do justice by themselves! It's true, there are many crimes against women and children... but the problem can be solved with a shot gun? In any case, your photo is very well done! :)

Personally, & I've been there, I prefer the .44 Dessert Eagle autoloader for shere knock down - stay down power. Great lighting experiment Jock.

Forty years ago it was easy to get guns in England, shotguns and air rifles that is, never hand guns though. In my teens I had 12 bore's, 410's and 9mm all shot guns, you neede4d a licence to own such guns but all you had to do was get permission of two farmers to shoot on their land, and that was easy to do. They welcomed you onto their land to help control vermin(rats and foxes) and also rabbits hares and wood pigeon, some even paid you for the foxes brush)tail). If you took them a brush it ment one less fox after their lambs and chickens, some would pay a £1.00 some would go as high as £5.00. Everything is much tighter now. I think you have done great with this series Jocko, like you say it shows us what can be done indoors without electricity to light the way. I have thought about using candles quite often, I just haven't got round to it yet. Excellent work you have done with this gun, it's not really the gun that does the damage, it's the mind that controls the finger that pulls the trigger. Bravo!!!!!

I fully agree with what Richardphotos said. In my country, France, the ownership of guns is restricted and it's best so. Do more people are killed in France than in the US (per inhabitant)? Certainly no. One can always find arguments pro and cons for anything, e.g. there has long time been a campaign in my country against safety belts in cars, saying that the safety belt kills and for sure this can happen, but much more people are saved by this belt than are killed. Later the same guys told us that restrict the speed of cars will kill, true also that in special cases speed can save a life, but so many are killed by too high speeds. Guns make many people turn mad and kill. OK I have taken the risk being killed, I never wore guns and refused to do the army, I will not say that this is always the solution however. Best in this peculiar case is to fight efficiently for justice and against poverty, I don't say that it will solve everything, but anyway it helps. Remember that nazism and their present representatives AlQaeda took roots in poor countries and nightmarish economies. I am not against police anyway, a police is definitely necessary to fight against crime. I admit that perhaps it's best that the police has weapons, but this is unclear as demonstrated by the Great Britain police; 2 days ago the French police adopted teasers that normally don't kill. Aside that, you've done a super photo! Really excellent. And thanks for raising the above-mentioned problems.

Looks like a Ruger. Artistic series of a useful tool. Many years ago, I used my revolver to stop two teenage boys who were assaulting a woman.
