Description
Apparently his personal space extends about 12 feet around him. That's as close as I could come before he decided that he would go somewhere else.
Getting this picture required a bit of stealth: 1/2 step, pause, another 1/2 step, pause... always keeping the camera at the ready.
BTW: this is the same deer that was scratching his nose in an earlier post. He's the one who likes to eat the buds from mom's Roses.

Very cute one! I went for a walk with my husband in the wood, there came up a whole herd deer to myself. To me there faltered the breath because I thought, they trample us deadly. Then struck me that they could not perceive our weather at all because they had wind from the back. When they saw us then, panic spread all of a sudden and they dashed in the undergrowth. Besides, was even a White one. If one sees not all days. A very nice photo, Mike!
