Description

This dedication means a lot to me as it is for my dear friend Ute, or better known here as Syltermermaid. Ute is one of the sweetest and most caring ladies you will ever meet, and I am so glad to call her my friend. She produces some of the most incredible and beautiful characters for Poser that you have ever seen and has a talent for making them seem so realistic. Ute has cared for many family members over the years who have been ill and I believe she is as close to a saint as you will ever find. I know she would never ask you so I will to please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. This story Ute shared with me really hit home and in all honesty made me want to hug my nieces as I was writing it. This is for you my dear friend Ute, Dave Bedtime Stories (For Syltermermaid): Ute grew up in a small village by the North sea and at a young age had a desire to learn. When Ute would hear other kids talk about their Mom reading bedtime stories to them it made her envy them as her Mom never did that for her. One day without her Mom knowing Ute slipped into the library and began looking through the books. She came upon a book Hasenschule (School Of Rabbits) and took it to the front. The Librarian knew Ute, looked at her smiling and said. {Ute your are not in school yet, and can't read} With this Ute got upset and responded {I need this book because I want to learn) She could see how serious Ute was and let her take the book. Little Ute read the book and many more and was one of the few kids who could read before she started school. Later as she got older she saw Hasenschule in a little book shop one day and she bought that book and still has it to this day. To be honest this got to me so much to see a child so eager to learn and no one to teach her. If you have a little one and find your either too tired or too busy to read bedtime stories to them at night I hope you'll think back to little Ute and make time. This image touched my heart but it's like all of your images Dave. They bring out the inner child in all of us and what a beautiful story to go with it. You've captured a wonderful moment that probably changed Ute's life forever, in a world that can be full of sadness sometimes, the kindness of some people always brings a tear to my eye.

Oh Dave, this is so beautiful. I too loved to read at a young age but I was lucky enough to have parents who encouraged it and helped me to read. Little Ute has grown in to a beautiful and special person and her love of learning is evident in her work. Thank you for sharing such a special story. It makes me believe in humanity all over again.

Wow Dave what an incrediable image, This is so true parents get so wraped up in there own problems and things in life that sometimes we forget the most important things that our Children lean on us to learn and teach them the valuable things in life, Remember children are our hope for tomorrow so teach them young, and one day they will become that special person in someone elses life, that makes a difference... This is such a wonderful dedi to UTE.. Excellent work my friend!!!!
